CFSMR uses a double-blind peer review model for original research submissions: author identities are not disclosed to reviewers, and reviewer identities are not disclosed to authors. Editors manage conflicts of interest, monitor fairness, and may seek additional reviewers when scores diverge materially.
Reviewers evaluate significance, methodological soundness, clarity, and alignment with the journal's scope. Editorial decisions synthesize reviewer guidance with journal standards; appeals follow a documented pathway overseen by the editor-in-chief.
Published articles are made freely available online to support global access to peer-reviewed research. Unless otherwise noted, works are licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) license, allowing reuse with appropriate credit to authors and the original publication.
Authors retain copyright while granting CFSMR the right to distribute and archive the Version of Record. For licensing exceptions (e.g., third-party content), editors work with authors to obtain necessary permissions.
Read more in our contact office policies or request a copy of the author agreement during submission.
Peer reviewers help uphold rigorous, constructive feedback for authors worldwide. Expect to evaluate a handful of manuscripts per year (typically 2–4 hours each), receive editorial support, and gain visibility within our editorial network. Benefits include early exposure to emerging research and recognition on published articles you review.
